My mechanic said my 1990 rx7 has a motoring oil pump problem?

he basically said the engine is getting too much oil, so as a safety precaution the cpu is cutting off the fuel, and he doesnt have the tool to work on it but i found someone who might and i dropped it off there, does has anybody ever experienced something like this? any advice? i dont want to get overcharged, i have no clue if its a huge job or a minor fix, please helpMy mechanic said my 1990 rx7 has a motoring oil pump problem?

Are you sure you don't mean to much fuel might have fuel pressure regulate problem ?

Never heard of that problem before.
