If it has continuous bruning oil, chances are the piston rings are shot. If it smokes on start up and then quits, it's probably oil getting sucked in through the valves. If this is the case, when the engine warms up, any oil that is sucked through the valve is immediately burned not rpoducing as much smoke as it will when the cylinders are colder. No, but an oil burner is a oil burner. Sounds like your oil rings, on the pistons, are wearing out. It also depends on when it is smoking, IF it smokes.

How many miles do you have on the bike.
It could be they are steel rings and it takes alittle time to get the engine broke in enough so not to burn oil
