Have not had any problems with the switch. Be sure your car has more than 30,000 miles on it. Don`t put it in a new car with less than those miles on it.Ever had problems with a car that used conventional oil mostly then switched to synhtetic oil? leaks oil press
check your owners manual a lot of older vehicles will have lower oil pressure, start burning oil, or may develop leaks because they weren't designed with the closer tolerances of newer vehicles that need a thinner synthetic oil
