My 1979 corvette with 19,500 leaks a little oil,is that a problem?

I just bought the Vette. 19,500 original miles and it leaks. Is that OK?My 1979 corvette with 19,500 leaks a little oil,is that a problem?
The problem is it sat too long and the seals and gaskets have dried out. On a 1979 corvette, its not ok. Take it to a shop you trust and find the leak and get it fixed. Nice car, I would hate to see you deal oil all over the underside of the vet, it must be clean with only 19k on it. I put on car shows here where I work and see alot of great cars and thats 1 you want to take care of--it will take care of you down the line. Good LuckMy 1979 corvette with 19,500 leaks a little oil,is that a problem?
It should not be licking any fluid. It is better address them before they become big problems down the road A little TLC go a long way to keep you on the road. You need to have it checked out. And would I would have th Bin NR. Ran. There may be some recalls on this car.

You may be surprise at what you find-out!
It's going to leak after that many years, the gaskets are probably dry rotted and hard as rocks so they aren't going to seal oil from leaking out.

Good luck!
that depends on where the leak is coming from. ie: valve covers, behind the timing belt cover, rear main oil seal, etc, etc.
it might be ok for now but sooner or later it will get bigger.
