a.one of america's major goals is to reduce reliance on foreign oil. Importing it from two countries that hate our guts and one with whom we have cold relationship with isn't going to help that goal.

Yeah but people like Bush waant to be the ';middle man '', reaping big profits before it gets to the gas pumps.
