Too Much Oil in engine V6 4.3, cause Problems?

Im about to go on a long road trip about 800mi, with my 03 chevy s10 xtreme v6 that i recently bought. i discovered that there is about a quart too much oil in the engine. Will this hurt my truck any?

I wouldn't go on the highway with a quart too much oil. It will be messy draining off a quart but you really should get this fixed. Don't drive with the oil below ';fill'; or above ';full.';Too Much Oil in engine V6 4.3, cause Problems?
Not good for it . A half quart or less is ok . Unfortunately no way to easily get just one quart out . Why not loosen drain plug and let an amount drain into a CLEAN ran . Re-tighten bolt and bring level up to proper amount . Keep excess for spare .
