Does the 2005 toyota corolla have an oil sludge problem like the earlier 1997-2003 toyotas?

The only Toyota engines that I heard had this problem were V6's. No Corollas have a V^.Does the 2005 toyota corolla have an oil sludge problem like the earlier 1997-2003 toyotas?

i don't think it has a sludge problem, i know the older models would burn oil a bit, especially when it came time of an oil change. since the 2005 basically shares the same 1.8 motor as the past, the components are the same really but problems like that should have been resolved. toyota is good about that. if it does than it is the most to worry about, really, these are great little cars. it's possible to get a lemon, but rare.
Huba is mainly correct. The V6 motors sludged up without any help at all. But the 4cyl motors if treated with regular oil and filter changes showed little or no signs of sludging (assuming you werent using heavy old fashioned oil)

The dork who game a thumbs down to huba is exactly that. A DORK
I second Brian B's answer- give the Best Answer to Huba.
