If you found the answer to the worlds energy problem and it would force out all of our oil, coal, and nuclear?

what would you do there is no way to trust anyone with this information. It would be worth trillions of dollars. Most industry would be forced to convert. Many powerful people would get hurt. The energy source would produce no harmful waste. (hypothetical)???????If you found the answer to the worlds energy problem and it would force out all of our oil, coal, and nuclear?
Here are 3 case studies:

1. In the 1970's, a chemist and his young son - who is a genius, develop a method for reusing oil. They build a factory, win the Queen's Award For Industry and in their 1st year make over 拢1 million. Then, one night, a fire breaks out - the factory is burned down. The insurance company argues the fire was caused by arson, so wont pay out. They lose everything. A few weeks later, at an ajoining site, another factory suddenly emerges recycling used oil, owned and run by a competitor copying, taking all their orders. (TRUE story - happened to my uncle. The factory was called: Crewe Chemicals).

2:: A man develops an amazing new material. It resists lasers. Lasers cannot burn it. He calls this: Starlite. It is easy to make - he made the sample in his home. He takes Starlite to ICI.

ICI test the material and find it is the new wonder material suitable for using as a main building material EG. making new-style space craft. The inventor asks for payment for his discovery. He is told to get lost. ICI argues: We have people coming everyday saying they have wonderful inventions. We can't pay all of them! He goes away refusing to give anybody the formula until he is paid a decent sum of money. Nobody pursues his invention - it is lost.

3: A group of people in America get together to make plastic wood - hard-wearing, very durable, plastic, made to look same as timber, but much stronger - to stop deforestation. They call themselves: Better World Technologies. They do everything they can think of to get their ideas, which develop even further, off the ground. All falls on deaf ears. They are regarded by skeptics as nutters. They launch a website selling the information. But the USA government suspects their peaceful aims, and shuts them down!

So my advice is: If you care about world peace, and energy security for the masses, give your invention to the people who most need it. Put the info. on the web for FREE so it becomes widely known.

Sure, many would not agree with me. They'd want big bucks - riches beyond their imagination. But we are in the 11th hour. If we don't achieve a breakthrough very soon - all hell will break loose. Think about that before going down the patent route. If you found the answer to the worlds energy problem and it would force out all of our oil, coal, and nuclear?
There is such a system which could be an answer to the world's energy problem and the system is solar power and a political system based on communal ownership of solar power arrays as well as communal ownership of money.

Another way it could be done is for nuclear power to be owned by citizens.

This then means that all alternate forms of energy are owned and produced by citizens in each country and so resolves Global Warming.
No one!!!

Many out in this dog eat dog world have been on the receiving end of IP theft sadly, or not sadly if you gained spiritually from that somehow...alhamdulillah.

I agree with Gillian...thanks for sharing that info Gillian as that was a really interesting read too.

It could be as an act of altruism to improve the lot of people worldwide, how great would that be for you on the grand scale of things if your intention for doing so was purely for altruism to help the poor and needy worldwide. Think about it. I know it will not pay your bills but you would surely gain in other ways.

Do you alternatively have the technological know how, means and funds to see this through by yourself, if you want to gain financial benefit for yourself and your inheritors, such as your family.

Good luck with whatever you decide.
Why would you need to ';submit';? Patent your idea, then start up your business.

Of course, it's highly doubtful that whatever idea you come up with has not already been thought of and tried at least a dozen times already, but it could happen.
