I put a new Catalytic converter on it, a new egr valve, %26amp; ignition coils. What would cause it to burn alot (and i mean alot) of oil, and cause misfires in the engine?I have a 1997 Saturn SL2 with a oil burning problem.?
Worn piston rings, worn valve guides and bad valve stem seals can pass a lot of oil into the engine. There is a test for this. A good mechanic can do it.
